The four persons who are accused of conspiring to steal $6.5M from the Guyana Oil Company once again made a court appearance before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson,Cheap NFL Jerseys Wholesale, at the Georgetown Magistrates Court.The defendants Kurt Thompson,Cheap NFL Jerseys Store, David Sundar, Leroy Walker and Mark Johnson are all accused of conspiring to steal $6.5M from the Guyana Oil Company between July 23 and July 24.David Sundar, a former employee of Republic Bank was also charged with unlawfully transferring $6.5M from the Guyana Oil Company in the name of Onike Kellman between July 24 and July 27.Another defendant, Kurt Thompson,Nike Men Air Max 97, was also charged with unlawful possession of ammunition. It was alleged that Thompson,Wholesale NFL Jerseys, on August 22 last, at Diamond, had in his possession 14 rounds of 9mm ammunition.Yesterday as the matter was called, Police Prosecutor Edmond Cooper told the court that the prosecution was not in receipt of the case docket.He said that the file was sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions for advice and it was still with the DPP.Attorney at law Mark Waldron, who is representing Leroy Walker and David Sundar,Cheap Air Max Tn Shoes, told the court that it was the third time that the prosecution is informing the court that advice has to be sought from the DPP on how to proceed with the matter.The lawyer opined that his clients were charged since August, and yet the report isn’t ready.Waldron stated that his clients who are from a humble origin had their reputations tarnished.He further told the court that with the prolixity of the matter the police should already have the advice.He opined that the state needs to start “striking out” matters when the police take a long time to proceed with it.The prosecutor then informed the court that the prosecution was in receipt of the file but legal advice is still to be attached.The magistrate subsequently adjourned the matter for November 3.
