Some councilors wanted to resign.One resident said that the Minister refused to discuss sanctions for the councilors. Sixty-one residents of Capoey said they acted within the Amerindian Act, a strategy that was used previously. The farming community has 500 residents. Residents also cited favouritism among certain members of the council’s body.
