A 39-year-old driver from the Ministry of Education was yesterday remanded to prison when he appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson, to answer a charge of causing death by dangerous driving.The allegation was that Brian Hubert,Jerseys NFL Wholesale, on May 1, 2010 drove his minibus in a dangerous manner, which resulted in the death of 52-year-old Kevin Roberts. The lawyer said that Ramshu was heavily intoxicated when the accident occurred. Backer further stated that her client is entitled to bail, since he had no previous convictions to his name.Police Prosecutor Stephen Telford objected to bail being granted.
